Kill Fluid Crystallization Inhibitor

VerdePeChem-KCI568

Product Overview

When preparing kill fluid, especially high-density kill fluid, the instability of the fluid often leads to the precipitation of inorganic salt crystals during storage, resulting in insufficient density that fails to meet field operation requirements. To address this issue, our company has developed the kill fluid crystallization inhibitor. This product primarily consists of high-efficiency chelating dispersants and special surfactants. It exhibits strong chelating and dispersing effects on various metal ions in the kill fluid, forming stable multi-monomer macromolecular network complexes. In particular, it has a significant solubilizing effect on divalent metal ions, with chelating capacity far exceeding that of EDTA and DTPA, thereby completely resolving the crystallization problem of high-density kill fluid during storage.

Physical and Chemical Properties:

  • Appearance: White crystalline powder
  • pH value (1% aqueous solution):1–3
  • Density (25°C), g/cm³:1.10–1.40
  • Active matter content, %:≥ 95
  • Loss on drying, %:≤ 2.0

Usage Method and Precautions:

When preparing the kill fluid, uniformly add this product into the kill fluid while circulating the kill fluid as per design requirements. The dosage is 0.5–1.0% of the kill fluid volume.
This product is acidic. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. In case of accidental contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water.
Handle with care during transportation to prevent package damage. The shelf life at room temperature is one year.
