Product Overview

VerdeCycle™-CPA526 is a cleaning and prefilming agent primarily formulated from phosphonates and active ingredients. By complexing with calcium and magnesium ions in cooling water, it forms a deposited film on metal surfaces. This film has high electrical resistance and isolates the metal from corrosive species in the water, thereby providing corrosion inhibition. This product features fast film formation, a dense and uniform film,good chemical stability, and low corrosion rate.

Applications:

VerdeCycle™-CPA526 can be used for prefilming heat exchanger equipment and piping in industrial recirculating cooling water systems in chemical, fertilizer, refining, oilfield, metallurgical, and power plants, either during the startup of new systems or after system maintenance. It forms a protective film on metal surfaces to prevent corrosion of carbon steel, copper alloys, stainless steel, and other materials during operation.

Usage Instructions:

The typical dosage of VerdeCycle™-CPA526 is 300–500 mg/L. Add directly to the inlet of the sump pump. The prefilming time is 48–72 hours under cold conditions or 24–48 hours under hot conditions. Discharge until the total inorganic phosphorus is less than 10 mg/L (as PO₄³⁻)

This product may cause skin irritation. Personal protective equipment should be worn during handling. Avoid contact with eyes or skin. In case of contact, immediately rinse thoroughly with water.
