Product Overview

Select-3063 (12x Concentrate) is a highly concentrated antiscalant produced by VCS USA, featuring strong scale inhibition and high dispersion performance. It prevents the precipitation of scale-forming metal inorganic salts, soluble silica, and other scaling inorganics in RO concentrate. It is widely used in industries such as petroleum, power generation, food, pharmaceuticals, chemical,and steel.

Directions for Use:

For typical water quality, continuously dose 0.25–0.42 ppm (as 12x concentrate) upstream of the cartridge filter. The specific dosage can be calculated using specialized software.
When a significant amount of organic matter is present in the water, this product has a certain capacity to adsorb and control it. On top of the 0.27–0.42 ppm (as 12x concentrate) dosage used for inorganic scale inhibition, additional antiscalant may be dosed proportionally based on a VCS technician’s recommendation to effectively extend the RO cleaning cycle.
Note: When applying this product, prepare the dilution using RO permeate water. Pay attention to interference from excessive organic high-molecular-weight cationic flocculants in the pretreatment (membrane elements are generally negatively charged, so excessive use of organic high-molecular-weight cationic chemicals should be avoided; the use of metal salt coagulants such as PAC is recommended, while ensuring overdosing is prevented).

Handling Precautions:

Wear protective clothing, rubber gloves, eye protection, and a face shield. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. Wash after handling, and shower upon completion of work.

Storage Precautions:

Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse.Keep away from fire sources and heat. Storage temperature should not exceed 40°C or fall below 0°C. Keep containers tightly sealed.Should be stored separately from oxidizers and edible chemicals; mixed storage is strictly prohibited. Protect from light.
