Decolorizing Flocculant

VerdeCycleâ„¢-DF1059

Product Overview

VerdeCycleâ„¢-DF1059 is a quaternary ammonium salt type cationic polymer compound. It chemically and physically interacts with reactive groups, hydroxyl groups, sulfonic acid groups, and other anionic groups present in reactive dyes, direct dyes, and acid dyes, thereby destabilizing organic matter to achieve decolorization and removal of COD, mineral oil, and other pollutants. It can be used in combination with conventional inorganic and organic flocculants and coagulant aids. This product is suitable for the treatment of industrial wastewater from printing and dyeing, ink, dye, and oilfield operations. It effectively reduces COD, oil content, color, and other parameters. This product is a low-toxicity substance with an LD50 of 880 mg/kg. After use, it is separated from the water together with other solid pollutants, causing no secondary pollution.

Physical and Chemical Properties:

  • Appearance:Transparent or light colored viscous liquid
  • Density (20°C), g/cm³:1.15 – 1.20
  • pH (30% aqueous solution):3.1 – 4.9
  • Solid content, %:≥50

Usage Instructions:

Dilute VerdeCycle™-DF1059 10 to 50 times, then add it together with the wastewater into air flotation, flotation, sedimentation, or other wastewater treatment equipment at a typical dosage of 20–50 ppm. The degree of decolorization depends on the type and concentration of the wastewater, the content of other impurities, and the dosage of this decolorizing flocculant. For a specific type of wastewater, the exact dosage should be determined through bench-scale testing.
