Product Overview

Due to the low content of light components and high content of asphaltenes and resins, heavy crude oil typically exhibits high viscosity and high density, making production and transportation difficult. The oil production viscosity reducer (surfactant type) reduces the oil-water interfacial tension, transforming the heavy oil in the formation from a water-in-oil emulsion into an oil-in-water emulsion. This significantly reduces the viscosity of heavy crude oil and improves the recovery factor.

Main Components/Composition:

The main active ingredient is petroleum sulfonate, blended with other auxiliary agents.

Uses and Application:

This product is a viscosity reducer for heavy crude oil during production. Recommended usage concentration is 1–3%, prepared as a 1–5% aqueous solution depending on produced fluid water content. For expired product, evaluate performance; if specifications are met, it may still be used. In case of skin spillage, rinse thoroughly with water. No significant harm to humans is anticipated under normal handling.
